Presentation of the book “Future Expectations for Europe” at the 4th European Futurists Conference Lucerne
In October we were able to introduce our latest publication “Future Expectations for Europe” at the Europe’s biggest futures conference.
In the run-up to the conference, 20 academics were asked to interpret the results of the sampling carried out in their Federal States. The chosen themes of employment, security, family, the environment, integration, education, consumption and the relationship between the poor and the rich were also widely discussed in the subsequent panel discussions. At the press conference Dr. Ulrich Reinhardt, CEO of the Foundation, emphasised the fact that some of the problems being experienced by Europeans can only be solved if we together; however, some of the ways in which individual countries perceive future developments are very different.
