On 27 August 2024, the BAT Foundation for Future Studies will present the "Leisure Monitor 2024" before.
For over 45 years we, as a non-profit foundation, have dedicated ourselves to the leisure behaviour of German citizens and record our research findings in our annual leisure study. This year's study focusses on the following questions:
- How do Germans spend their leisure time?
- How have the most popular activities changed over the years?
- What do Germans want from their leisure time? What would they like to do more often?
- Which leisure activities are never practised by the majority?
- And what role do digital media, regenerative activities and social activities play in leisure time today?
Answers to these and other questions are provided by Professor Dr Ulrich Reinhardt, Scientific Director of the Foundation for Future Studies. The results are based on a representative survey of over 3,000 German citizens aged 18 and over, which was conducted by GfK on our behalf in July and August of this year.
We look forward to your participation in our ONLINE PRESS CONFERENCE on Tuesday, 27 August at 10:30 a.m.
